Thinking of you

So after yesterday's busy card, I thought that I would share with you guys a more simple card :) This card was made with one of my favorite mini sets- Thinking Of You. I just love that sentiment and think that it definitely holds true during tough times. I added a little bit of liquid pearls to the plant and some shiny brads on the corners of the front panel. I have been LOVING black and Kraft together! I find myself reaching for this combo quite a bit.

We are still in the middle of the Chehalis River. Since we aren't worried about getting any water in the house, we have been able to just enjoy this crazy act of nature. It's amazing to me to go out on either the front or back decks to see the water rushing all around us. It sounds like we're at the ocean! But instead of clear blue water, we have muddy brown water everywhere. That always brings me back to reality lol! Here is a picture I took of my husband standing on the last step (holding onto a rope just in case) of our back deck. You can see how high and how strong the current is.

Oh Jess even though you say you are not worried about getting in your house I am very concerned about you, Matt and the girls please be careful.

Now onto something a little lighter I love this card and I agree with you this saying really helps to make the tough times brighter. I thank you for bringing this set to us.

Take care of you and the family and keep us posted on what's going on. Maybe you shoul put your computer and stamaps on a raft just in case....lol.

Love You
