TSG132- Inspiration Challenge

All new release orders have been packed and shipped AND I have made 11 Christmas cards. All of these things were completed in a 48 hour period (while doing all of the regular mommy stuff too of course)! I gotta say, right now I'm a mix of complete brain dead-ness and inspiration. I think the brain dead thing is winning out thought ;)

This release was by far one of the best ones yet all thanks to you- the amazing friends of TSG! We were completely sold out of all of the new release items soon after they went live on the website despite the technical issues we were dealing with that were causing the website to run sooooooo slow. Thanks for putting up with it everyone and I hope that you were able to get the items you wanted! For those of you who may have missed out, I am expecting another shipment of all of the holiday stamp sets within a week so make sure you keep an eye on the TSG website :)

Before I head off to bed, I wanted to share this set of cards that I made for this week's TSG Inspiration Challenge.
I looooove how quick and easy these came together and see that circle of rhinestones? They are made by Recollections (which you can find at your local Michaels store) and come 8 to a package at around $3-$4. BUT you can always use a coupon and get them for less. Easy peasy quick n' easy (totally going to be my new motto by the way lol!)

Torico is in the mood to make winter all warm and cheery. She has illustrated a fabulous set that will keep you in stitches or get you in the mood to make gingerbread houses and sugar cookies. The set includes hearts, stars, and snowflakes to create a one of a kind snowman or holiday tree. This set also includes six dies – so warm up your die cutting machine and let the baking begin. What set wouldn’t be complete without a few sentiments to add to your winter projects?

Warmest Wishes is a 4x4 set that includes a total of 23 stamps and 6 dies and will sell for $31.50.

Would you like to win the new Warmest Wishes stamp sets? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. Welcome to day two of our blog hop sneak peeks of the new stamp sets (and dies!) that TSG will be releasing this Saturday!! I am completely smitten with today's stamp set, it is so much fun to use!!! I wanted to stick with this week's TSG challenge which is to create 5 quick and easy cards :)

No two snowflakes are alike…each with a beauty of their own and Melyssa Connolly has captured the beauty of snowflakes in this new Holly Jolly set that are sure to make you wish it were snowing. This amazing set also includes a die! It’s a fabulous versatile set that will surely bring a holiday glisten to your projects – all you need to add is the glitter!

Holly Jolly is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 35 stamps and one die and will sell for $31.50.
One of the cool things about this set is that it comes with a bunch of different images that work with the die that comes WITH the set! Another cool thing is that the center of the images were designed to work with a 1 3/8 circle punch!! I'm telling you, you are gonna love this set :0)

All of the twine that I used is of course from my favorite ribbon place- Ribbon Carousel!

Hohoho / Holiday Ribbons / Wishing You Blog Hop Challenge

What images come to mind when you hear sleigh bells ringing? Santa and his eight tiny reindeer of course! Torico has illustrated the perfect mini set to create your winter wonderland scene. This is the perfect set to create holiday tags, cards, and gift boxes. A complete must have.

Hohoho is a 3x4 mini-set that includes a total of 9 stamps and will sell for $7.

For my first sample I masked and stamped the reindeer onto white card stock before coloring with colored pencils. The other reindeer and santa were stamped onto a separate piece of card stock, colored, cut out and adhered to the glittered card base using dimensionals.
Hohoho
Just when you thought the World’s Best & Die stamp set couldn’t get any better…here comes another fabulous set illustrated by Melyssa Connolly to add snowmen, reindeer, and angels on the tails of your ribbon or flowers of the World’s Best stamp set. What a great set this will be to dress up a holiday bottle of cheer!

Holiday Ribbons is a 2x3 mini-set that includes a total of 9 stamps and will sell for $4.

Holidays are not complete without all the wishes of the seasons. Jessica has illustrated a beautiful set of timeless sentiments so that you’ll never be at a loss for words. This mini set would complement the collection of holiday stamps sets released this month!

Wishing You is a 3x4 mini-set that includes a total of 6 stamps and will sell for $7.

For my sample cards I combined the two new mini sets Holiday Ribbons and Warmest Wishes to create a set of 5 cards. I absolutely LOVE how these turned out! All of the ribbon and twine I used are from the Ribbon Carousel.

TSG131- 5 quick & easy

Hello everyone, can you believe that it is release week already?! This week we've got some AWESOME stamp sets that are gong to be released so make sure you come back every day for sneak peeks ;) To start of the festivities, TSG has a great challenge that is aimed at helping you to get your holiday cards done in a snap.

The theme of the challenge is to create a set of 5 quick and easy holiday cards and you can find out all of the details about this challenge (as well as find out how you can win a TSG gift certificate simply by playing along!)by visiting this post on the TSG blog.

Not only do I have a set of 5 quick and easy cards to share with you today but I am going to be continuing on with the challenge all week long by creating a set of 5 cards for each of the FIVE new stamp sets that are to be released on Saturday!!

For my first set of cards, I was completely inspired by this card that creator Michele shared with me last week. I absolutely LOVE her simple design and as soon as I saw it, I couldn't wait to ink up my stamps from the Holiday Tags set and get started!! I  kept the design pretty much the same but changed the colors and stamps.

Small Advent Box tutorial and print outs!

Yay for the weekend! I have a super busy day ahead but wanted to pop in and post this project that I have been working on for about a month!

Last week on the TSG blog I posted a tutorial and directions on how to make an advent calandar out of foam board. Today is another one of those tutorials but for a different size :) I made each of my girls an advent calendar and each one was completely different from the next. I still have to put together the directions for the last one but am hoping to get that done this week before Thanksgiving :)

I decorated the advent boxes so that there are numbers on one side and pictures on the other. The calandars start out with all of the number facing out. Then each day when the child takes out the contents of the box (I will share what I put in them with the next tutorial!) the turn the box around so that the picture is now showing.
