You're So Punny
How cute are all these images?! See that cute little whale's water spout? It was designed to fit all of the sentiments that go with it! Most of all sentiments will fit in your favorite punches, think of all the possibilities!

Roses & Chocolate
I love all of the different elements to this set! All of them are perfect for any love projects that you have in mind.

Flowers Of Happiness
These gorgeous flowers are so fun to color and layer for a more detailed project or just stamped in color for a simple yet WOW project. The frame in the corner was designed to fit three of the sentiments that are included in this set and how great are these sentiments?!
*************
I made this card for today's Inspiration challenge on SCS. We were to take the inspiration from the website Elum. Oh my, everything is on this site is sooo gorgeous! It took me a long time to finally choose this piece-

I used the new stamp set Flowers of Happiness and I love the look of the flowers stamped as an outline image! Add a touch of bling and you've got GORGEOUS! For the Rose Red layer, I stamped my sentiment and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder (my favorite!) and used the inverted side. I then added a few brads to finish it off.

Sneak Peek: Flowers of Happiness & DFF!

I am so excited to share with you a few sneak peeks from this set! I always have been (and always will be!) a flower stamp addict. I love to color them, cut them, layer them, sparkle them.... well.... you get the idea ;). Flowers of Happiness is a set of 17 and has lots of gorgeous images and beautiful sentiments!

Today I'm going to show you a Dollar Find Friday project that I made using this set.

Supplies: Stamps, images colored and cut, ink pads, picture, $1 alterable frame

Step 1: Using Close to Cocoa, stamp off once and stamp onto frame. Stamp sentiment in black. (How great is this sentiment???? It is definitely one of my favorites so far!)

Step 2: Add your cut images and a little bling!
I love this picture of my two big girls. It amazes me when I sit and watch the girls as they play together. I am so blessed that all three of our girls get along so well and hardly ever fight! It reminds me why we chose to have our girls so close in age (they are 3, 4 & 5 now!) It's going to be nice to look at this picture when I have all three girls going crazy and running around the house like monkeys lol!!
On to the sneak peeks!
This card features another one of the great sentiments that come with this set. This was very quick and simple to make and still gorgeous!

The main image of this card is actually two different stamps. The frame and the sentiment. I designed this frame to fit THREE different sentiments that come with this set!
Today is the last day to get your challenge cards in! The challenge is to use dimensionals in your card/project and those of you that use your TSG stamps will qualify to win a new release stamp set! Please use the keyword TSG03 when you upload it to the SCS gallery.
Today is also the last day to enter in the DT member's blog candy give away. The winners of both the challenge and blog candy will be announced during Saturday's Release chat on the Paper Craft Planet Group! Stay tuned tomorrow to see all three of the new sets in their entirety :)

Sneak Peek: Roses & Chocolate

I needed some ideas for a Valentine set so I asked my good friend Faith if she had any ideas for what she would like to see in one. She gave me an awesome list of things and I got to work. I love how this set turned out and it's perfect for all of your love projects!!

This first card I made uses 5 of the 11 stamps that come in this set. (3 on the front and 1 on the inside) My friend Kelli came over the other night to stamp and hang out and if that wasn't enough she came with gifts for me!! She gave me four mini paper packs of Basic Grey paper! They are all fabulous and I couldn't wait to cut into them :) I borrowed her Top Note Die and cut out a piece of Riding Hood Red paper. I then cut out (using the same die) a strip of the Basic Grey paper (from the Bittersweet pack) for the bottom. After I had the two adhered together I used my rectangle scallop nestabilities in the middle and raised the whole panel on dimentionals over the pink layer. I stamped the lips in Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red in a random pattern and then stamped the sentiment in black. I stamped the banner onto some brown Basic Grey paper, cut it out and raised it up on dimensionals as well.

On the inside of the card I added a few layers and the hearts to the corner for a nice touch. The heart were stamped on Basic Grey paper, cut out, and edges colored with a white gel pen.

One of the great things about this set is the LARGE box of chocolates, which is one of the things that Faith requested. The size is about 3 1/8" w x 3" h and I love how it is the focal point of this card! For the corrugated panels, I just ran my cardstock through my paper crimper. Super simple, but gives great visual appeal. The image was colored with a blender pen and ink pads, cut out and raised by dimensionals.
For the inside of the card I stamped a couple of the single chocolates in the corner and colored them in the same way. Added a sentiment and that's it! The sentiment reads: For you see each dayI love you more. Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.~Rosemonde Gerard
Make sure you stop by the other DT member's blogs to see their sneak peeks using this set!

Sneak Peek: You're So Punny

When Holly came to me and said she had an idea for a stamp set, I was intrigued. But when she emailed me the sketches, I was in LOVE! The images and sentiments in this set are too darn cute and I KNOW that you guys are going to love it just as much as I do!! A little bonus about this set is that most of the sentiments are designed to fit inside your favorite punches. Oh the possibilities!

My first card is made with the little piggie from this set. Isn't he adorable??? I stamped him twice on white card stock, colored with copic markers, cut out and layered with dimensionals. For the background paper I stamped one of piggie's sentiments repeadidly to get a custom matching DP.

For this card I chose to go simple so that this cute squirrel would stand out. I love how well these colors go together, just gorgeous. I colored this little guy with copic markers, cut him out and popped him up on dimensionals (think TSG03 challenge!!) I also have the main layer popped up to0. I loooove the depth. It makes a clean and simple card really pop!
And since today is Wednesday, I have another card inspired Stamp Page to share with you! Since I loved the card that I made sooo much, I decided to make a little something similar to keep for myself and this picture of the girls in a pile of leaves goes perfect with the squirrel image :) Make sure you stop by all of the other DT member's blogs for more sneak peeks and you never know, you just may be able to win some blog candy too! ;)

If you would like the chance to win some more blog candy, check out the DRS Designs blog! The winner will be chosen on Sunday.

Inspirational bird

Hellloooooooo! Hooray for Saturday! I'm looking forward to relaxing and spending lots of time in my craft room. Oh wait, I have 3 crazy little girls so that's probably not going to happen LOL! A gal can dream right?

When I saw this inspiration piece on Splitcoast, I fell in love! I love these gorgeous colors together and it definitely got me wanting to stamp.

I needed to make a thank you card for my dad and wonderful step mom and this turned out perfect! I used the bird on a branch from the set Here For You (LOVE that bird!!) and the Thanks stamp from the mini set Branches both by TSG. I stamped the bird and thanks in chocolate chip craft ink. I think that craft ink is great to use with clear stamps because you don't get that "beading" that can sometimes happen with water based inks. The blue panel was made by running a piece of Baja Blue piece of paper through the cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder and lightly sponging some close to cocoa ink on top. I added some ribbon and brads and that's it!Stamps: Here For You & Branches (There She Goes). Paper- chocolate chip, baja blue, very vanilla. Ink-chocolate chip craft ink, close to cocoa. Accessories- brads, ribbon, swiss dots embossing folder, sponge.

Dollar Find Friday (Angela-Lunch Pail)

TGIF everyone! I am so happy that it's Friday cause I could really use a break LOL! Today the wonderful Angela brings us this weeks Dollar Find Friday! She has this super cute project using a lunch pail that she picked up for only $1! Check this out-

Happy Friday! Oh, how I love Friday......

Today I've got another Dollar Find Friday treat for you. If you are a new reader to my blog, basically Dollar Find Friday is where member of the There She Goes design team find stuff that costs a buck and transform it into something awesome!

My project today uses this Bart Simpson tin found at Dollarama.
I decided to transform it into a tin to hold little note cards. You could make this for anyone. I thought it might even work as a tin to hold love notes to send to your loved one :)

I cut white cardstock to fit the tin front and rounded the corners with a punch. The mailbox image and sentiment from Special Delivery are stamped in black Stazon. I added a sheet of red designer paper from SU! and rounded it off as well. A black ribbon from Michael's is tied to separate the two areas. A quick layer of colour was added to the mailbox image with a water colour brush (Real Red and Close to Cocoa). I went over the red again with a marker as I didn't think the red stood out enough. The cardstock is adhered to the front with a tape runner. It's stuck on there pretty good. I could have used some Modge Podge but didn't have the energy to drag it out and clean up those brushes.....
I then made some small 3x3 notecards out of white cardstock. The each have a 1x3" strip of matching red DP, a length of black rick rack (unknown) and a sentiment stamped in black ink.
Here's one of the cards close up.
This last picture is of the note cards and envelopes inside the tin tied up with ribbon and ready to give to some to lucky recipient! If I had some of those RSVP pens on hand, I would have made one to match and thrown it in too :)
Hope you like! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Tonight I am off to get my hair done (such a treat!) and follow it up with having my stamping friends over. Can't wait!
Lucky Angela! I want to go get my hair done and have stamping friends over too :) Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
