I wanted these cute little kiddos with their beach bums sticking out to be my main focus so I created a one layer card and had the background be more muted. Images were stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Prismacolor pencils, cut out and adhered to the cardbase using dimensionals. The sheer satin edged ribbon, natural jute twine and button are all from RibbonCarousel.com.

No Peeking

I made this card awhile back but never got around to sharing it with you guys. I absolutely love how this quick and simple card turned out!

I used one of the stamp sets we released last holiday season called No Peeking. This set was originally designed to be used for creating Advent calendars but are great for making simple cards too!

I stamped one of the circle images included in this set on the cardbase to create the design. The image was stamped onto a separate piece of cardstock, colored, cut out and adhered to the cardbase using dimensionals.

I Spy Sketch: Warmest Wishes

I had a lot of fun playing with the I Spy Sketches so I thought that I would give it another go this week!
ISSC25
The stamp set that I used for today’s card is Warmest Wishes. Not only are the images in this set so cute, but they come with dies too!
I stamped, die cut and colored the images first and then decided that I wanted to go with a white card base and background so that they would stand out. I adhered them to the card base using dimensionals and added a rhinestone to each image. The sentiment that I used is from the stamp set Holly Jolly.

Seasons Greetings

Today over at the TSG Blog, we are featuring the previously released set Seasons Greetings (one of my favorite holiday sets!).

The image was stamped onto vanilla cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils before being cut out and adhered to card base. I added texture with a snow applique pen.

I used some of my favorite RibbonCarousel.com products along the bottom of the card (seam binding, twine, buttons and box-pleat ribbon)

Snowy Days

Here is another easy one layer card that I created using a TSG(again!) stamp set, this time Snowy Days. Make sure you pop on over to the TSG Blog all week long to see more cards using these sets!

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the snowmobile to give it some shine. The sentiment panel is wrapped in natural jute twine that I got from RibbonCarousel.com.

Penguin Pals

Today I have another card to share with you using one of our TSG(again!) stamp sets and this time it is Penguin Pals. I love the adorable images included in this set and they are so much fun to color!

I stamped the images directly onto my kraft card base and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I love how vibrant the colors turned out!

I used my new snow marker (which is like a liquid applique) on the white parts of the hat as well as the top part of the snow. When I used my heat gun on it, it puffed up to give a nice texture. I then added some Stickles to the snowflakes and on the snow on the ground.

The gorgeous ribbon I used is a wire edged ribbon from RibbonCarousel.com .

I Spy Sketch Challenge: Bombdiggity

Earlier in the week I was lucky to have some of the Trendsetters come stay with me for a few days while we did lots of stamping while sharing lots of giggles! The very same Trendsetters are part of the I Spy Sketch Challenge and since I had the very administer of the challenge (Kim Teasdale) in my home, of course I had to play along in this week’s challenge ;)

I’ll admit that I panicked a bit when I first saw the sketch at hand but after Kim talked me down from the ledge, I decided to quit being a wimp and give it a go lol!

Make sure you stop by the I Spy Sketch Challenge blog for all the details about this week’s sketch!

ISSC24

I decided to use my Bombdiggity stamp set because this little girl is too stinkin’ cute! I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS. The papers I used are from a new paper pad I got called Ellie by Three Bugs In A Rug.
