Hunny Bunnies and Bear Hugs

*Welcome to the last day of the Trendsetter's sneak peeks! If you have just come from the TSG Blog, you are right on track. If not, you may want to go there now and see what all this hopping is about and how you can have a chance at winning the sets being shown today!*

The first card that I have to show you uses a new set called Hunny Bunnies. This set is not only perfect of Easter themed cards, but you can also use it all year round! My brain has been on major overload this week as you can probably tell lately from my one layer cards lol! Even though this card is simple, I love how it came out! I started by stamping the bunnies onto my kraft card base. I then masked the bunnies with a sticky note (that was cut out in the bunnies shapes). I used a copic multiliner to draw in the grass and sponged in the clouds and grass. I stamped the bunnies and heart onto white cardstock and colored them in with a blender pen and SU inks, cut out, and added them to the card base using dimensionals. How sweet are those hunny bunnies?!

Hunny Bunnies is a 4x6 stamp set that includes a total of 33 stamps and will sell for $15.

For my second card, I used the forward facing bunny from the Hunny Bunnies set and added the cute little teddy bear and sentiment from the new mini set Bear Hugs. The great thing about both of these sets is that the bunny and full sized bear from the mini set have the same exact bodies so that the items that they can hold are interchangeable between sets!!

Bear Hugs is a 3x4 mini set that includes a total of 20 stamps and will sell for $7.

Tomorrow evening is the release party! Make sure you stop by because one lucky winner from the chat will win the entire March release!! Now keep on hoppin' to see what the other amazing cards the Trendsetters have to show you :) The next stop on your hop is Gretchen !

Make a wish Blog Hop Challenge!

*Welcome to day two of the Trendsetter's sneak peeks! If you have just come from the TSG Blog, you are right on track. If not, you may want to go there now and see what all this hopping is about and how you can have a chance at winning the set being shown today!*

Welcome to day two of our TSG sneak peek Blog Hop Challenges! Today the Trendsetters and I are showing off a new set that will be released Saturday evening called Make A Wish. I kid you not, this may be the only birthday themed set that you will ever need to buy!! It has everything you need from cakes/cupcakes to balloons and party hats and everything else in between. With *65* stamps in this set you are sure to find what you are looking for!!!

Make A Wish is a 6x8 stamp set that includes a total of 65(!!!) stamps and will sell for only $23!
I chose to do another one layer card today but let me tell you, it was not simple lol! First I stamped the cupcakes onto DP and cut out. I then stamped the cupcakes onto white card stock, cut out and added glitter to the cherries on some of them. I then reassembled the DP cupcake pieces to mix and match them. Still following me? Good ;)

I then used a pencil and lightly drew a grid pattern onto my card base so that I could stamp the 'yum' circles somewhat straight. I think I failed lol! The I erased those lines, stamped my sentiment and using my ruler and a copic multiliner, drew the frame. I then added my cupcakes onto the circles with dimensionals.

Whew! Finished card-

I hope you all enjoyed my sneak peek today! Now keep on hoppin' to see what the other amazing cards the Trendsetters have to show you :) The next stop on your hop is Gretchen !

Challenge hop day one and Stamps for a cause!

Welcome to day one of the Trendsetter's sneak peeks! If you have just come from the TSG Blog, you are right on track. If not, you may want to go there now and see what all this hopping is about and how you can have a chance at winning the sets being shown today!
*Dance*
The first set that I'm sharing with you today is very special to me. Last month, the stamping group that I belong to lost a dear friend. Linda was such a joy to be around and always had a kind word and a smile for anyone. Sadly, she passed away in the beginning of January from Amyloidosis. I have designed this mini stamp set in Linda's memory and $4 from every $7 dollar set will go to the Amyloidosis Support Group in her name.

Dance is a 3x4 mini set that includes 7 image stamps and 1 large beautiful sentiment stamp that will sell for $7.

I made this card for Linda's wonderful sister Priscilla (who is also in our group). It was really something to be in a room with those two! You could immediately tell how close they were and how much fun they had together. Hanging out with those two for only a few minutes and you would feel like old friends :)

I was inspired by this beauty made by Heather. The beautiful images in this set have an almost tropical feel to them so I decided to color them a pretty pink with my Prismacolor Pencils. And I don't know what it is about pink and black together, but it makes my heart happy :) And do you see my 'DP'? That leaf is one of the images in the set!

And of course the inside of the card has to be as pretty as the front!

*Beautiful Spring*
The second set that I have to show you today is also a mini set called Beautiful Spring. This set features the image I used on my card as well as a larger daffodil and tulip (two separate stamps) plus the perfect sentiments to go with them.

Beautiful Spring is a 3x4 mini set that includes 5 image stamps and 4 sentiments stamps that will sell for $7.

I wanted to create a very clean and simple card while still maintaining texture and depth. I stamped the image onto my kraft card base (that was sponged on the edges with Sahara Sand) with Momento Tuxedo Black then colored using a blender pen and SU inks. I then stamped the image again onto scrap kraft cardstock, colored the tulip, cut out and added to the card base using dimensionals.

Birthday Sparkles!

Are you guys ready for TSG Release Week??? All week long the Trendsetters will be giving sneak peeks of the 5 (!!) brand new stamp sets that will be released this Saturday evening. These new stamp sets are a must have for your stamp collection and you are not going to want to miss a moment of the fun :) Make sure you tune into the TSG Blog all week long to stay in the loop!

This week's TSG Challenge is a simple yet fun one. We are challenged to create a birthday card that has some sort of sparkle on it! And I know all of you stampers have some sparkle ;) You can find out all of the details about this challenge (and how you can win a $5 TSG gift certificate!) right here on the TSG Blog.

For this card I used one of the new stamp sets called Make A Wish. (You will see more from this set later in the week.) I first stamped the circle image in Sahara Sand ink onto Kraft card stock. The adorable cupcake image was stamped onto white card stock and colored the bottom of the cupcake with copic markers. For the frosting I used my Quickie Glue Pen before adding some fine pink glitter. I did not color the frosting before adding the glitter, all that color is from the glitter itself! How cool is that? I <3 Glitter :)

TSG42-He/She Card!

Hello! I was hoping to get this card finished so I could post it yesterday but that just did not happen! You see, last weekend I had started to clean out my large craft closet and after I had taken everything out, I decided I might as well clean the girls craft closet too. (I have 3 closets in my office/craft room) Needless to say, there was a whole lot more mess than there was clean lol! After avoiding the craft room altogether for the last couple days I finally gave in and faced the chaos. And I won :)

After I was done cleaning, I sat down and created this card for this week's TSG Challenge which was to make two cards that are the same but with different colors/DPs (one feminine and one masculine). I decided to change the pink card I made a couple of weeks ago to more of a masculine card.

I used the same stamp set (Aim For The Clouds) and layout but I changed the DP used, as well as the colors of the balloons and rhinestones. I also substituted the twine for ribbon. Easy peasy :)

Ring bell for service

Do you ever have those days where you just want to change your name?? You know instead of going by 'mom' you could go by 'what else can I do for you mom?'. LOL! My card is perfect for those kind of days ;)

I used one of my favorite images from the new set ROFL Taglines. The bell image was stamped in Chocolate Chip right onto the dp and was then colored in with a blender pen and SU inks before adding some Diamond Glaze to make them stand out.

Inside of card. The sentiment says 'If no one answers do it yourself.' How perfect is that??? I'm thinking about getting a real bell to put in every room of my house ;)
Have a great day everyone!!

TSG Color Challenge!

Our Trendsetter of the week Dawn has challenged us with a great color challenge! The colors to be used are red, pink, and brown which are perfect for the upcoming holiday :) I hope you will play along with us for your chance to win a $5 TSG gift certificate!
For my card today I used the brand new stamp set ROFL Taglines. The images were stamped on white cardstock then colored using Copic markers. After they were attached to the sentiment layer with dimensionals, I used a Gellyroll Glaze pen on the polka dots to give them a little dimension.

Another ATC & Friday Night Chat!

Here is another ATC that I made for this week's TSG challenge. Have I mentioned how much I love making ATC's?? ;) I used the new set Aim For The Clouds and colored the images using Copic markers. For the mountain layer, I stamped the mountains onto whisper white card stock, masked the mountains and sponged with Soft Sky for a nice sky color. The clouds were stamped onto a seperate piece of paper, cut out and glued on using a Quickie Glue Pen. The balloons were also stamped onto a separate piece of paper, colored, cut out and added to the main layer using dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment and punched out with the Word Window Punch before adding star rhinestones and attaching it to the ATC using dimensionals.

It's Friday which means that it's time again for the Friday Night Chat! We love meeting new people and I hope that you will stop by to say hello. The official chat doesn't start until 7:00 PM Pacific time but feel free to stop in here at any time during the day to say hello :)

More ATCs!

As promised, I am back to show you some more ATCs that I made for this week's TSG Challenge. I absolutely love how these turned out! I used the brand new stamp set Chemistry. This set is so much fun to color and create with :) I stamped the images onto white cardstock and colored them with a blender pen. I then cut them out and added some Diamond Glaze to parts of the images to make them stand out more.
