Dollar Find Friday (Jessica- Candle)

So I have to admit, since I have had my Welcome Home set, it has not left my desk. I love this set and it is so fun to color! I wanted to show you guys this easy project that anyone can do.

Candle Project
Supplies:
Tissue paper
Candle (I found this one at Dollar Tree)
Favorite black ink pad (I used Momento tuxedo black)
Favorite coloring tool (I used Copic markers)
Heat gun
Stamp your image onto the tissue paper, trim and color.

Hold your tissue onto the candle and gently heat with a heat gun until the tissue paper starts to melt into the wax. You have to be careful not to heat it too much or your wax will start to melt.

Isn't that candle holder beautiful?? It was only $1!!
If this candle was a little taller I was going to stamp the door image. This would be such a great gift for someone who has moved into the neighborhood or maybe someone who has just purchased a home.

I hope that your first weekend of the new year is a wonderful one!

Great project Jess I think this set takes the candle to a whole new level. I also agree that this would make a great gift especially if you gave it with the holder. It just so happens that I was trying to think of some thing to give to Chloie's favorite teacher who just moved into a new home. I think my search is over thanks. Have a great weekend and TFS.
