Feelin' a little sweet today

Ok, I lied. I'm not feeling sweet (any more than usual anyways lol!) but I did notice that my birthday card stash was getting a little low. So I pulled out my Cupcake Mix & Match and my new favorite DP Sweet Slumber by SU to make this birthday card.
As you can see, I tried to experiment with some embellishments (and by experiment I mean actually use) and I'm thinking that I may need a little more practice lol! The cupcake was paper pieced, which is one of my favorite things to do right now. It is so quick and easy and a great way to tie images in with the rest of the card :)

I will see you guys here tomorrow for our Friday challenge! Oh, and don't forget about our Friday chats as well :)
