Challenge card and altered frame

Today's challenge was to make a non traditional valentine. No hearts, no flowers, no reds or pinks. Hmm... I had to think about this one for a minute. As soon as I saw my tiers of treats stamp I knew that would work perfect. One of my favorite color combos is teal with either black or brown. I came across the brown and teal designer paper and then went from there.

Supplies: Stamps- Tiers of Treats, TAC gift with purchase. Ink- Black stazon, chocolate chip. Paper- DCWV, Chocolate chip, Cool caribbean. Accessories- Rhinestones (duh!) Stardust gelly roll pen (another duh!), ribbon, corner rounder.

I made this yesterday for the ways to use it challenge. The challenge was to incorporate dots into your work. This frame was the last thing on my "things to be altered" shelf, and I had picked out this paper specifically for this project. This challenge was just perfect for the extra push to get it done. I just love the way that this turned out! It must be one of those things that looks better in real life cause it didn't get many comments on splicoast lol!

Supplies: Paper- S.E.I., Creamy caramel, cool caribbean, bordering blue, very
vanilla. Ink- Versamark. Accessories- Clear embossing powder, sticker from Me
and My big ideas, scallop punch, rhinestones, silver brads, Chipboard.
