Today's tutorial is a Freebie find! I know you guys all have chipboard of some kind laying around (like food boxes for example). Here are a couple of ideas on how to use them for our cards.
Supplies:
Die cuts of your choice
Fine glitter (I got mine at JoAnn's)
Glue pad
Chipboard
Embossing powder (I made custom powder using UTEE and Perfect pearls)
Heat gun
Versa Mark
Step 1-1: Cut chipboard using die cut
Step 1-3: Cover shape using glue pad.
Step 1-3: Cover with fine glitter.
Finished chipboard accent
Step 2-1: Cut out chipboard (I used Nestibilities for this one)
Step 2-2: Cover piece in VesaMark
Step 2-3: Cover with embossing powder
Step 2-4: Heat with heat gun
Step 2-5: If you desire, you can repeat the last step for more coverage

Darn! I just threw out a nice clean cereal box, not realizing what a resource it could have been. Thanks for the ideas--that's the last box that goes!
Now I MUST remember to get out my glitter more often, especially with the holidays right around the corner. Thanks for the inspiration!
