Saturday Inspiration

I made this card for today's SCS Inspiration challenge. I chose this cute little penguin king as the inspiration for my card. I really liked the card that I made earlier in the week with the subtle background scene so I decided to make another one. The fun thing about the Penguin Love set is that there are so many stamps (55!!) that you can make a ton of different scenes. Even though the card is similar to the one I made earlier in the week, the scene is completely different :) How cute are those little penguins waiting for Santa penguin to give them their gifts??

I stamped my background in Mellow Moss ink on the same color card stock. The santa and bag image were stamped onto white card stock, colored with a blender pen and SU inks, cut out and added to the card with dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of white card stock that was punched by my new favorite SU punch. I also added some adhesive pearls to the bottom of the sentiment.
Card Recipe:
Stamps- Penguin Love
Paper- White, black, Mellow Moss
Ink- Momento Tuxedo Black, Mellow Moss, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron
Accessories- Blender pen, dimensionals, SU punch, Adhesive pearls

Make sure you stop by the TSG blog today to check out the Stampbook Saturday page I made :)

Love it girl! Sorry I didn't come to the forum last night, I had a jewelry party here so I finally kicked the last 'partiers' (I had wine) out at midnight! But I did get tons of free stuff!
