Ways to use plaid...

It's been quite a while since I have done a "Ways to use it" challenge on SCS but today I wanted to stamp! The challenge was to find a way to use plaid. I have never really been a huge plaid fan but I thought that I could find a way to use it with this adorable image from DRS Designs. When I saw this cute snowman collage stamp I knew that I had to have it because it looked like so much fun to color! I used a blender pen and my water color crayons to color the main image and inks with my blender pen to color the mistletoe in the background. I recently "rediscovered" my blender pen. I forgot how handy this thing can be! It makes coloring with inks soooo much easier than with the paintbrush that I have been using.

Here is my card- I need a new camera desperately. The one I have now just does not do cards any justice. IRL, the card is not as dark as it seems in this picture.

Stamps: Stamps- DRS Designs (M258, H883, F1004) Paper- Basic black, always artichoke, barely banana, white. Ink- riding hood red, kiwi kiss, old olive, black stazon. Accessories- blender pen, watercolor crayons, scallop punch, crop o dile, dimensionals, paper piercer and template, white gel pen.
