Dahlia Fold

Today's technique lovers challenge was to make a card featuring a flower using the Dahlia fold. Dahlia's happen to be my absolute favorite flower and this card is so simple and so elegant to make!

Supplies- Double sided paper
Circle punch

Step 1- punch out 8 circles with your punch. (I used a 1.25 in. circle punch)

Step 2- Fold circle in half horizontally and vertically. Unfold.

Step 3- Using your previous fold lines as guides fold up the bottom corners. Your circle should now look like this.

Step 4- Flip the circle over and fold the left and right edges in toward the center.

This is what the circle will look like when you are finished folding. Follow steps 1-4 on the other 7 circles and arrange them into a medallion and glue on your card.

Here is my finished card.
