Don't you hate it when-

You go to your stamping table ready to stamp and then end up just staring at your supplies instead of actually stamping? That was me last night. So I brought out my Nature Of Friendship set because I love the versatility. I knew that I wanted to use this layout (it's one of my favorites and I haven't used it in a while) but the colors I wanted to use eluded me. I played with a few before deciding on Riding Hood Red, Kraft and Sahara Sand. Although I'm not sure if I like it yet, I know that it's not the worst I've done lol!
So please tell me- when you are wanting to stamp but don't have the mojo, what do you do to get through it???

I think your card turned out great! When my Mojo escapes me I turn the radio ( music from the 50s, 60s & 70s)on. After a few minutes, I'm in my happy place and I just get to creating.

Jessica, I'm sorry to hear you don't have mojo right now. Although you are in low key, your work is still gorgeous!! When I don't have any mojo, I usually make cleaner and more simple cards than usual or I case somebody else's cards to bring the creative juice back. I'm sure your mojo will be back when you start playing with new TSG stamps :)

I love the way you popped up the nesties cutouts in the centre! What a great idea!

I really like this card - mojo or not! When I'm feeling a lack of mojo I usually try to do some challenges - can almost always count on that to spark something. ~chris

No mojo? Omword, this card is me on the most mojo-est day of my life! I love this layout, very quilty looking and the colors are just so sweet. When I don't have any mojo I alter something, cruise through the galleries or I just opt to color. That usually gets my head in the game.

Well....going back to your comfort zone layout surely worked cuz this beauty has plenty of mojo behind it......I keep a file of sketches from blogs, etc near my workshop table for those days when I need a jumpstart......

Beautiful card. My Mojo left about 3 weeks ago when I started taking care of my niece who is 4 1/2 months old. Four days a week she is here and along with the boys *who are 4 and 1, I get nothing done. I did go in last night and stamped and colored a whale!! That's it!! LOL

hugs,

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card. In fact, I think I am going to CASE it. Usually when my muse has left I just walk away. Without her, I feel like I accomplish nothing.

I usually walk away for a few minutes and clear my head...it seems to work. I think sometimes when I get in the mood to stamp it takes my brain a few minutes to get on board...lol. Your card turned out beautifully though.

When I don't have the mojo to create something special I go to others' blogs (like yours) and I am always inspired or triggered with a color combo to get the juices flowing again!

I love the color combo you did. I think it works great!
