Stampbooking Wednesday!

I love Wednesdays because not only do I get to say "tomorrow I get to say tomorrows Friday" Buuuut it's another installment of Stampbooking Wednesday!

What is Stampbooking Wednesday? I will take a card that I love and turn it into a scrapbook page to keep forever! This is a great way to incorporate your stamps in your scrapbooking and also get you motivated to take it one page at a time. With all of the gorgeous cards made every single day- you will always have inspiration!

This week's Stampbook Page was inspired by this gorgeous card made by Maki. I absolutely love the colors and layout of this card and knew it would be perfect to case for a Stampbook page. Thanks Maki for the inspiration!

My Page
I just love this picture of Kylie! She loves to dress up and pose for the camera. Whenever there is a camera in her sight, she puts on her model poses! Anytime, anyplace- she's got the pose ready!

To make this Stampbook Page, I cut out the main layers. On the white layer I stamped the flowers from the Here For You stamp set on the bottom and then stamped off more in the background for depth. I then sponged the edges with Baja blue ink and stamped the birds in the corner. I tied the ribbon to the top and then taped down all of the layers. I stamped the bird in basic grey onto baja blue card stock, clear embossed and cut out. I added it to the white layer with dimensionals. I sponged white prima flowers with baja blue ink and added yellow brads. The sentiment is actually a clear scrapbooking sticker that I had in my stash.

This was very simple to make and probably took about a half hour to create. I have to tell you- when all of the Stampbook Pages are together in a binder, they look absolutely gorgeous! It's like having all of your favorite cards along with your cherished photos in one spot. You can't beat that :)

Supplies: Stamps- Here For You (There She Goes). Paper- Haiku DP (SU), baja blue, basic grey, white, so saffron. Ink- Baja Blue, going grey. Accessories- clear embossing folder, ticket punch, ribbon, sticker, sponge, brads, prima flowers.
