When I read "Boldly and brightly go".... I knew I was in trouble LOL! I am sooo not a bold brights person, the only color that I even use from this color group is Real Red and that isn't very often. So I checked out the colors and almost threw in the towel. But I thought that I would at least see what these colors looked like together. So I got out my ink pads and was quite pleasantly surprised! These colors go together great!
For this card I used the new set Flowers of Happiness. After I cut the Top Note Die panels, I stamped the white with the leaves and sentiment. On a separate piece of paper I stamped the flower images and colored with ink and a blender pen. The large flower was stamped four times, cut out and layered.
For the background, I ran the lavender cardstock through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder. I then took my home made sanding block and went over the image to make the embossing really stand out.
I hope that you all have a wonderful week!
