Year Round Sentiments

Today's card showcase features the set Year Round Sentiments. I had the help from this months featured designer Suzanne Baker for the concept of this set.

Here is a little bit about Sue-
I'm the mum of two daughters, ages 25 and 16, and I have a one year old grandson. I've been stamping for the last twenty-seven years. I have a small home business making cards and small gift boxes, most I sell from home, the others I have for sale in a small gift shop here in town. I live in a small lake front community in Ontario, Canada. I don't scrapbook at all. I have thousands of rubber stamps but very few like the stamp set (Year Round Sentiments) that we designed. I like to embellish my cards so these are perfect for that little extra something, I also like to decorate the envelopes and these will work perfectly on the flap of an envelope.

Thank you Sue for being this months Featured Designer! It has been such a pleasure getting to know you :)

I made this trio of cards for a few of Kylie's teachers. They were very quick and simple to make. A great thing about this set is that the circles fit perfect with the 1 3/8" punch. There are a total of 7 circles that have a sentiment included in them. There are also 2 separate images to use to stamp in your circle. One large for the middle and one small for the sides.

I also used this set to make "toppers" for peppermint patties. Super simple to make and so cute!

Inside of card (Sentiment by DRS Designs)
This was one stamp in particular that Sue wanted to include in this set. I love how it turned out! Do you see the background? That was made using one of the new mini sets....... ;)

Inside of the card
I wanted to play around with this snowman using nontraditional colors to make a holiday card.

This gorgeous card was made my Silke. You can see how she did the inside on her blog.
I hope you enjoyed today's sneak peek! Check back tomorrow for sneak peaks of cards made with the new set Let's Get Together. I have a feeling a lot of you will like this set ;)
