Today's challenge card was very fun to make. I'm not sure that I'm crazy about how the So Saffron layer turned out. I think that if I were to redo it I would probably make it white instead. The humming bird was water colored with SU inks.
Supplies: Stamps- Pretty Amazing, Full of life, Canvas. Paper- Old olive, white, pumpkin pie, so saffron, rose red. Ink- Old olive, rose red, black stazon. Accessories- clear embossing powder, white gel pen, paper crimper, stardust gelly roll pen, paper piercer, dimensionals.

Next are some close ups of the cards that I was giving away for this week's card give away.

Supplies: Stamps- Pretty amazing. Paper- Always artichoke, white, rose red, black. Ink- black stazon, rose red, always artichoke. Accessories- Scallop scissors, paper piercer, dimensionals, rhinestones, corner punch, colored pencils, odorless mineral spirits.

(This card is similar to one that I had made for a challenge last week. I am trying to use my older stamps that don't see ink very often and here is what I came up with. The colors on the dragon fly are paper pieced on colored scrap paper.)

Supplies: Stamps- Dragonfly (michaels $1), Simply said. Paper- Certainly celery, pretty in pink, white, chocolate chip. Ink- Black stazon, certainly celery, pretty in pink. Accessories- Horizontal slot punch, ribbon, swiss dots cuttlebug folder, corner punch,

Supplies: Stamps- Inkadinkado. Paper- white. Ink- basic black. Accessories- ribbon.

Supplies: Stamps- Blooming with love. Paper- DP (unknown) chocolate chip, mellow moss, white. Ink- black stazon, regal rose, pale plum, certainly celery. Accessories- stardust gelly roll pen, dimensionals, brads, corner punch.

Some of you have asked what punch I use for the corners of some of my cards. I use this scallop corner punch by Marvy Uchida. I got mine at JoAnn's over a year ago and I'm not sure if they still have this particular punch. I'm pretty sure that you can still buy it online though.

I just bought that corner punch recently and love how you've used it. Also - nice design for the Technique challenge. I'll have to try that.
