Dollar Find Friday (Mini album & Fabric Container)

I found these beautiful fabric covered containers in the dollar spot at michaels. And they had matching ribbon! I decided to make a thank you mini-album/card for my aunt that took me and my oldest daughter out last weekend for her birthday. I got the idea for the mini album from a tutorial that Nichole Heady did a few months ago. I went kind of simple for this week's project.

STEP 1

Supplies:
Container
ribbon
fabric glue
rhinestones

Step 1- measure ribbon so that it will fit all the way around the fabric container.

Step 3- Glue ribbon in place

Step 4- Add rhinestones to the flower centers on the ribbon.
You could fill the container with a lot of different things! What would you add???

STEP 2

Supplies:
Stamps- Best blossom & Lexicon of love
Paper- Mellow moss & Very vanilla
Mellow moss ink
2 in. scallop punch
1 1/2 circle punch
1 3/8 circle punch
5 pictures (1.625 x 1.625)
Ribbon

Step 1- Punch out 12 scallop circles in Very vanilla. Punch 11 1 1/2 inch circles in Mellow moss. Punch out the five pictures with the 1 3/8 circle punch.

Step 2- Stamp Thanks from Lexicon of love 6 times onto very vanilla

Step 3- Punch out with the 1 3/8 circle punch

Step 4- Adhere the "thanks" circles to mellow moss circles.

Step 5- Adhere those to scallop circles.

Step 6- place face down and put a strip of adhesive in the centers of each scallop.

Step 7-Adhere the ribbon across the scallops (works better if the ribbon is face up unlike what I did here)

Step 8- Adhere the pictures to the remaining mellow moss circles and then on top of the scallops.

Step 9- Decorate the last vanilla scallop. This will be used as the "cover" of your mini album.

Step 10- Adhere the rest of your scallops on top of the ribbon and other scallops.

Finished product.

This is brilliant! I love it! You made me look at that Lexicon of Love stamp set in a new light. What a great idea to punch a circle out of the image.
