Birthday Sparkles!

Are you guys ready for TSG Release Week??? All week long the Trendsetters will be giving sneak peeks of the 5 (!!) brand new stamp sets that will be released this Saturday evening. These new stamp sets are a must have for your stamp collection and you are not going to want to miss a moment of the fun :) Make sure you tune into the TSG Blog all week long to stay in the loop!

This week's TSG Challenge is a simple yet fun one. We are challenged to create a birthday card that has some sort of sparkle on it! And I know all of you stampers have some sparkle ;) You can find out all of the details about this challenge (and how you can win a $5 TSG gift certificate!) right here on the TSG Blog.

For this card I used one of the new stamp sets called Make A Wish. (You will see more from this set later in the week.) I first stamped the circle image in Sahara Sand ink onto Kraft card stock. The adorable cupcake image was stamped onto white card stock and colored the bottom of the cupcake with copic markers. For the frosting I used my Quickie Glue Pen before adding some fine pink glitter. I did not color the frosting before adding the glitter, all that color is from the glitter itself! How cool is that? I <3 Glitter :)

Love the use of the kraft paper, the stamped image is subtle but very effective.
