Happy Saturday!

Whew, we made it through another week to enjoy a fun weekend with family and friends! I know not all of you get a break during the weekend (my own DH is working today) so the rest of us will try our hardest to have lots of fun for you ;)

I made this card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS which was to pick a beautiful vase from the website Bellacor, to draw inspiration to make a card. I chose this gorgeous vase and like usual, got a little carried away once I started creating.

I used a combo of two stamp sets- Nature of friendship and Tea for two Special Blend. One of the great things about TSG stamps is that so many of the sets work so well together! I haven't used these two sets in a little while and it felt good to ink them up again :)

I cut the main panel out with a Nestability die and sponged it with Sage Shadow and Mellow Moss inks. I stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip then stamped the tea leaves with Always Artichoke and colored in with the same ink and a blender pen. I finished off the image by stamping mini flowers in Melon Mambo (is that the name??) and glued rhinestones. The panel was then added to a Mellow Moss layer that was embossed with an embossing folder. Behind the Mellow moss layer I added a scalloped very vanilla border and of course more rhinestones!

And a card is not complete until it has a beautiful matching inside :)

This is stunning! The Melon Mambo really pops on that soft sage and moss background!
