Dollar Find Friday (tank top)

Today's project is such a fun one! I'm sure that you guys have seen those adorable onesies in the Splitcoast gallery that have been stamped on. Well, I wanted to make some for my girls but obviously they are much too big for onesies lol! So I did the next best thing. I made a cute tank top!

Supplies-
Heat and Bond (under $2 at walmart)
Shirts (I got a 3 pack of tank tops by fruit of the loom)
Stamps of your choice
Scrap piece of fabric (large enough for your stamp image to fit)
Stazon or other permanent ink
Fabric glue (optional)
Rhinestones (optional)
Sharpie or other permanent marker (optional)
Iron (not shown)

Step 1- Stamp your image(s) on the scrap piece of fabric using stazon. As an added step I used my heat gun to set the ink into the fabric.

Step 2 (opt.)-
Use sharpie marker to add color to stamped image

Step 3- Cut a piece of Heat and Bond to fit the fabric

Step 4- With the bumpy side of the heat and bond facing up, place your fabric (stamped image facing up) and run your iron over the fabric.
*use the wool setting on dry*

Step 5- Cut out the image

Step 6- Peel off the paper backing on your image and then iron it on your shirt. (I would put another piece of fabric on the inside of your shirt just as a precaution)

Step 7- The finished product so far!

Step 8 (opt.)- Using the fabric glue, add rhinestones or other embellishments to the the shirt.

And here is our oldest daughter modeling her new shirt. She loves to pose for the camera :)
