Sorry for the late Dollar Find Friday post! My craft room and I are still not on speaking terms so I had to haul all of my stuff out to the dinning room table to work. It took me a longer to do my project because I needed to keep getting up to grab something I forgot. Oh well.... I'm boycotting my craft room until it gives me my mojo back lol!
Today's project is altering those cute little paper bags that we always see but never know what to do with- Supplies:
Stamps- embrace life, natural beauty, happy harmony
Ink- pumpkin pie, ruby red, old olive, more mustard, creamy caramel, brocade blue, black stazon
small paper bag- this one is 4x5.25
6 Blank cards- mine are 3x5.5
6 Envelopes- 3 5/8 x 6.5
water color brush
Step 1- Stamp the word collage from Natural beauty on the center of your bag
Step 2- Make a mask of the word collage use it to cover the words you stamped on the bag. Stamp the leaves from Embrace life around the words.
Step 3- Remove mask and water color the leaves with old olive ink
Step 4- Stamp images on another piece of card stock, water color, cut and adhere to the front of the bag where desired.
Step 5- Stamp and water color your cards and envelopes to match the bag. I used an edge distressor around my cards to give them a little depth as well as added some stardust gelly roll pen to the images
Finished product!
