Dollar Find Friday (Mini album & Fabric Container)
I found these beautiful fabric covered containers in the dollar spot at michaels. And they had matching ribbon! I decided to make a thank you mini-album/card for my aunt that took me and my oldest daughter out last weekend for her birthday. I got the idea for the mini album from a tutorial that Nichole Heady did a few months ago. I went kind of simple for this week's project.
STEP 1
Supplies:
Container
ribbon
fabric glue
rhinestones
Step 1- measure ribbon so that it will fit all the way around the fabric container.

Week in review and card give away + BONUS!!
Sorry for the late post today. Now that the weather is starting to be nicer we've been getting out a lot more and spending lots of time outside! Here is a picture of my week in review. It looks like I didn't get to much done this week huh? My goal for this week is to do all of the challenges to get my mojo in high gear.
Card give away- Leave a comment on this post and I will use a random number generator to pick the winner. That person will get to choose the card of their choice (excluding the one on the bottom left) and I will send it to them.
Bonus- The person that was chosen as the winner for my cloud tutorial never e-mailed me her info so this RAK is back up for grabs. It contains- two cloud templates, four make up sponges and my tutorial card. Leave me a comment on this post and I will choose the winner later this week!

Dollar Find Friday (Flower pot frame)
I love those decorated wooden shapes that you can find at JoAnn's and Michaels. They are so darn cute and so cheap! I buy them but then don't know what to do with them. Here is something that I came up with....
Supplies-
Decorated wood flower
Flower pail
Green acrylic paint
Wooden skewer or dowel
Floral moss
Picture (sized to fit in the flower shape hole)
Step 1- Paint the skewer with green paint.
Step 2- adhere picture to back of flower shape. I just used plain old masking tape.
Step 3- "stuff" the moss into the pail. The moss is going to help to steady the wooden skewer when finished.
Step 4- Trim the grass
Step 5- Adhere the skewer to the back of the flower shape. I found that hot glue worked great.
Step 6- Place the flower securely in the moss. If you want, you can cut out a leaf shape out of card stock and add it to the skewer. ( I just used plain tape adhesive but I'm sure that double sided sticky tape would be best for this.)
Thanks for looking, I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial!
