Kids say the darndest things...

Happy Wednesday everyone! Unfortunately I don't have a project to share with you since I have had no time to stamp. The weather has been so warm the last few days that we have been spending most of our days outside. I know that a lot of you stampin moms can relate :)

Something cute happened last night that I wanted to share with you all. Just as Matt and I were getting ready to crawl in bed, I heard Kayla (our youngest) tossing and turning. I asked her if she was ok and she told me that her legs were hurting (darn growing pains). I went and got her some Motrin and as I was rubbing her little legs waiting for the medicine to kick in her eyes pop open and this is the conversation that followed:

Kayla- "The fox talked to me!"
Me- "Oh yeah? What did the fox say??"
Kayla- "It gave me the key!"
Me- "That's cool! What does the key do?"
Kayla- "It belonged to the fox."
Me- "No honey, what does the key open?"
Kayla- "The gate" (you could almost hear the "duh mom" she added mentally lol!)
Me- "Oh really? What's behind the gate"
Kayla- "I don't know" (another duh...)
Me- "Hmm.. maybe it's a big field of flowers for you to pick."
Kayla- "Yeah....."

And then she went back to sleep. It was so cute to see how excited she was to tell me about it :) This was the first dream that she has ever told me about so it was one of those things that you always remember. It was definitely a Stampbook page kinda moment.

Isn't it amazing how sweet and innocent children look when they are sleeping?

This is how she usually looks. A crazy energy/attitude filled 3 year old that likes to do what she wants to do and that's it lol! She'll always be the baby :)

Awww...that's adorable! I'm so glad you shared that special moment with all of us! I don't have human kiddos yet (I'm a doggie momma times 4 though)! I can't wait for these exact type of moments! I can't wait to see it in scrapbook form, I hope you'll share that with all of us too! Say hi to your cutie from me! Hugs!
