5 years already??

Today was a big day for me. It was the day that I sent my oldest to full day kindergarten. I can't believe how fast she grew up! I am so proud of myself for not crying ;) The little girls and I have been keeping busy all day. We did some crafting, some laundry and even made home made blueberry zucchini bread. I get to pick her up in a couple of hours and can't wait to hear all about her very first day of school!

I know exactly what you mean, I sent my middle dd to kindergarten today for the first time too. I did not cry although I think it was just because I was too tired for tears LOL.

Oh, come on...tears on that first day of Kindergarten are sentimental and you'll remember how hard it was to let your little one out of your sight for a whole day!! :) I still remember that first day (4 years ago) Call me sappy...it's okay. These are the moments that make life worth living.

Hope she had a really terrific day of school!! :) My kids are 3rd and 4th grades already and we were all anxious and nervous. We survived *sigh*

Okay I spent 4 years at co op preschool with my kid and that day I put her on the kindgergarten bus my dh walked me home and I sat at the table and cried like a baby. Well you know. I drive her to school and pick her up now and every year the first day of school I drop her off and call my dh and cry like a baby. Never fails. She went in to the 6th grade this year. I cried like a little baby. I love her so much my heart aches. Is that strange? Truly my heart aches with love for my not so little girl anymore. Golly, I'm gonna start crying again...can't wait for my stamps! :-) Take care.
