Last month you all fell in love with our newest line of Sock Goblins from illustrator Wendy Leach. Well this month, we are introducing you to Larry! How cute is he?? I love his little tie! The Sock Goblins are so much fun to color and can be used for any type of cards.

I had a nice little break from my colored pencils for the last few projects but it sure feels good to break them out again :)

Eeeeek!! I am so excited to finally share this set with you guys! Torico has done an amazing job creating some fun pirates (and accessories!) that you are going to have su much fun to use for all types of papercrafting projects! And true to TSG style, you know that the DT had some input for possible sentiments that ended up being a separate mini set since they seemed to be on the sassier Image was a combination of paper pieced as well as colored with prismacolor pencils. I also used the sketch from this week's TSG challenge!

Hi stampy friends! I have to admit, it has been at least two months since I’ve created a card but yesterday I was able to finally make one! And even started on a second :) Hopefully my mojo will stick around for a bit because I really do miss stamping!

I think that the reason behind my missing mojo may be all of the stress I’ve been under lately. You see, our family recently made the big decision to move from Washington state (where we have lived pretty much our entire lives) to McKinney, TX! Matt has been going there for work (and staying a few weeks at a time) so it’s been just me and the girls. Thankfully everything has been going really smoothly but being a single parent for the first time in 10 years gives me absolutely no time to do anything else lol! Major kudos to all the single parents out there, you guys are amazing!! Oh, and did I mention that we are moving in 10 weeks? :/

Anyways, now on to my card. This week we have a fun sketch challenge brought to us from Tobi and I thought that it would work great with this image from one of our new illustrators Wendy Leach. Last month you all fell in love with Wendy’s debut TSG stamp set Phyllis and this month we are introducing you to Larry! Seriously, how cute is he?! Love him!

I am so excited about the new line of sock goblins that our new illustrator Wendy Leach has created! These little guys (and gals) are so stinking cute! Today we are showing off the adorable Phyllis. I am still on my canvas kick so I went with it lol. The canvas measures about 8x10 and I used a bunch of different mediums to create all of the different textures and elements. All of the designer paper used was from my scraps (yay for finally having a use for them!)

Ever since Tobi had shown me how to create multi medium artwork, I have been having so much fun making these canvases! Both of the samples I made today are 8x10. I have a ton of random pieces of scrap paper and this totally helps to use up that stash. And to think, I was going to get rid of all of it! THAT is why stampers turn into horders, for all of those 'future-just-in-case' projects ;)

Lucky Duck . Hooked On Quack Blog Hop Challenge

It's time for our March release, and we are SUPER excited!! I have been having a real problem with my mojo lately and haven't been able to create anything in almost a month. Thankfully Tobi Crawford was spending the weekend with me and was able to break me out of my funk by teaching me how to create mixed media canvases. I had SO much fun and can't wait to work on more very soon! So instead of a traditional card for a sneak peek I went unconventional and made this canvas for this adorable little duck :)
