Oh Crop Blog Hop Challenge

Our fourth and final set for June's release is SURE to capture your hearts and tickle your funny bone!! Again, thanks for participating this month!! We couldn't do this without YOU!!!

Let's get to it!!

Oh Crop is our second set from Melyssa this month, and it has STOLEN our hearts!! The flying pigs, the picturesque scene, that ADORABLE farmer…really, how could you NOT love this? You don’t have to be a country girl to know that THIS set is a Blue Ribbon WINNER!

Oh Crop is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 21 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

Would you like to win the new Oh Crop stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, May 26th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

I decided to switch things up a bit and make a 3D scene today instead of a card. These are my absolute favorite projects to do because I put them in frames and hang them up in my craft room Smile I usually go all out and make everything 3D on these projects but since this was a spur of the moment (read: I procrastinated lol) idea, I didn’t make the farm scene 3D. That is totally on my list of soon to make projects though, how cute would that be???

Mother Of All Blog Hops: Day 2!!

Hello, Stampers!
Welcome to the 3rd annual Mother of All Blog Hops sponsored by There She Goes Clears Stamps!   This weekend, we (customers and trendsetters!) will be featuring some of our favorite There She Goes Clear Stamp sets!   Not only that, we’re going to give YOU a chance to win some fabulous prizes!
To find out how to score the prizes (over $400 worth of prizes being given away!!!!), please go to the There She Goes’ blog and read the simple instructions.
The stamp set that I used for day 2 of our fabulous hop is Poppies illustrated by Chris Dark. This is among my favorite flower stamp sets in the TSG collection and it has been calling me to ink it up since it was feeling a bit neglected by the new sets that keep joining our family Winking smile
Instead of going the traditional route and just using red, orange and yellows, I wanted to add a couple of other more non-traditional colors to add a little ‘pop’ to the otherwise simplistic design. If you look closely, you will also notice that I stamped the poppies in Crumb Cake ink to add some more depth to the background.
Images were stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Prismacolor Pencils.Poppies

While trying to decide which TSG stamp sets I wanted to use I realized that in all of the excitement of posting about Kylie’s Make A Wish trip, I never did share that card that I made for her special birthday!

This birthday was extra special because it was both her Golden Birthday (turning 9 on April 9th) AND she got to spend it on an amazing trip to Florida filled with memories that will last a lifetime for our family Smile

Since this was her Golden Birthday, I used all types of yellow/gold tones for this card along with lots of sparkle and rhinestones (diamonds are her birthstone Smile). You may be wondering why I picked this stamp set for my daughters birthday card huh? Well, truth is- she requested it lol! That’s right a couple of months before her birthday she told me that she wanted me to make her birthday card using the goat and that she wanted it to be eating flowers out of the toilet. Crazy kid, where does she get these things??? Must be from her dad Winking smile

And of course I had to add one of my favorite ruffle edged ribbons from the Ribboncarousel.com!

Kylie's Bday

TSG stamp sets used to create this card:

Tastes Like Chicken
Rain & Sunshine
Under The Weather
Make A Wish
Blossom by blossom
Pumpkins On The Vine

Check out all of these other fabulous creations made by the participants in this year's MOABH part 1!

TSG154 Flower Challenge- Just For You

TSG154 May Flowers

This week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, Laurel! She is challenging us to make a card or project using May flowers!! Since April is almost over, and we all know how the saying goes, it is time for May flowers, so be sure to use SOMETHING floral on your card, whether it be paper, stamps, or embellishments.

I have been pretty good about playing along in the TSG challenges but actually blogging my creations afterwards? Not so much lol! I really am trying to get better at this whole blogging thing but I get distracted easily so sitting through an entire blog post is nearly impossible Winking smile

I’m really going to work on getting to be a better blogger so bear with me if my posts are short and sweet. Besides you just want to see the cards anyways right??

Happy Birthday Ribbon Carousel!

This month the RibbonCarousel.com is celebrating their 1st birthday! I am so proud of all that Corinna has achieved during this first year and I know that things will only get better from here Smile
I created a birthday card using the stamp set Ba Donkey Donk (it would be a crime not to lol) and the party hat the donkey is wearing is from the set Numbered Days . Images were colored using Prismacolor pencils. And of course I had to use some of my favorite pleated satin ribbon and DP both from RibbonCarousel.com!
So very happy birthday to Ribbon Carousel and way to go Corinna on creating such a fabulous company!!

Make sure you stop by the other blogs that are participating in this celebration!
