As soon as I saw the image of the little boy that is included in this stamp set, I knew that I HAD to create a card that has a pair of twins! I don’t have any boys of my own but am the proud Godmother to the most adorable 14 month old twin boys Blake and Troy. Since it is nearly impossible to tell the boys apart, their mom (my BFF) makes it easy on all of us by always having Troy dressed in blue. So of course I had to have one of the boys on my card wearing a red tie Open-mouthed smile Now, their daddy isn’t the suit and tie wearing kinda guy but hey, it works lol!
The gorgeous ribbon and rhinestones used on this card are from RibbonCarousel.com!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoy all of the other fabulous creations that the Trendsetters have made using this set!!

TSG149 / It’s release week!

Release week is here and like always, the Trendsetters will be sharing some sneak peeks of the fabulous new stamp sets that will be released this Saturday! The official Blog Hop Challenges don’t start until tomorrow but head on over to the TSG Blog and you just may see that some of the Trendsetters used the new sets for this week’s TSG challenge Winking smile
Our challenge this week is this great sketch from our DT Coordinator Jessie Rone. I enjoyed this sketch because it gave me the opportunity play with a combination of designer papers which isn’t something that I usually do. I’m more of a clean and simple with layered images kinda girl lol.
Don’t forget to head on over to the TSG Blog for all the details about this challenge and to find out how you can win a TSG Gift certificate just by playing along!
TSG149
I made this card for Kylie’s music teacher who put together an AMAZING music performance! Every year he and his wife put so much hard work into the performances and this year was no different. The adorable musical was circus themed and as soon as the show was over, I just knew I had to make him a card using this image and sentiment from the new stamp set Jungle Out There. This set will be released this Saturday evening but you can see more samples using this set during the Blog Hop Challenge that will take place this Thursday on the TSG Blog!!
For the last few weeks, I’ve been playing around with my TwinTouch alcohol markers but I’ve gone back to using my Prismacolor pencils and I think that even though this coloring method might take a bit longer than markers, I prefer the look of them in my art work. Jungle Out There

Hunny Bunnies

I am so happy that Spring is officially here (even thought you might not think so looking out *my* window lol) and to celebrate, I’m sharing two cards for this week’s TSG Challenge which is to create an Easter and/or Animal themed card.

One of my favorite things about the two stamp sets I used today were actually designed so that they can work together! For example, all of the images that the bunny can ‘hold’ can be used with the teddy bear as well and vise versa!

My first card was created using the Hunny Bunnies stamp set (on sale for only $12.75 until this Friday!). I absolutely LOVE this adorable stamp set, how cute are those little chicks?? I was having a hard time deciding which sentiment I wanted to use thought because I really liked “Oh for peeps sake…” that also comes in this set Smile

Hunny Bunnies

Supplies-
Stamps: Hunny Bunnies
Paper: Kraft, Vanilla, White
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Pear Pizazz, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Sewing Machine, sponge, dimensionals, pear pizazz marker, old olive marker, edge distressor

For this card, I used the mini set Bear Hugs (on sale for only $5.95 until this Friday!!) This card is super quick and easy but it still needs a little something… hmmm….Bear Hugs

Supplies-

Stamps: Bear Hugs
Paper: Kraft, white
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils, OMS, Sponge

Bon Appetit

Hi everyone and happy Friday! I have a fun card that I made for this week’s TSG Challenge which is to create a card with a ‘hidden surprise’. The hidden surprise in this card is that it is actually a box! You can find the fabulous tutorial that Beate created for this project right here on SplitCoast Stampers. You can also get the details about this challenge and find out how you can win a TSG gift certificate simply by playing along by heading over to the TSG Blog.

I had intended on using this for Kylie’s golden birthday card (her birthday is April 9th) because she loves to bake but she just informed the other night during dinner that she wants her special birthday card to use images from the stamp set Tastes Like Chicken and have a goat eating flowers out of the toilet. Hahahaa…. this kid takes after her mama!

Here is what the card looks like ‘closed’

Bon Appetit
Then you slide off the ‘belly band’ and the card opens up to this adorable box. How cute is that?! I absolutely love the sentiment that I used on this card because the is what my girls say to me every night while I’m cooking dinner. Crazy kiddos'.

I’ve been wanting to share this card that I made awhile ago using the Scootin’ By and Scootin’ By Accessories stamp sets. I absolutely love how it turned out (I’ve been a little obsessed with the color teal paired together with reds lol) and as much as I would like to say that this card was an original idea, it was actually a complete CASE of this card created by one of our newest Trendsetters Candace!

Kylie’s Golden Birthday is coming up in about a month so I’ve been thinking of different ideas that I can use for her special card. I absolutely love making tags and I thought that the new Numbered Days stamp sets would be the perfect size to use!

Goodbyes, Hellos and PJ Crop Project

It is the first of March, which means that it is time for us to say goodbye to our Jr. Trendsetters that are leaving us, and hello to the new ladies that will try to fill their shoes. Leaving us this month are the SUPER talented, Jenny Peterson, Lynn Put, Jackie Rockwell, and Melissa Hubert. It has been SUCH a joy working with all of them, and we hate to see them go! Thanks for all that you have done for There She Goes, and we wish you well in the future!! Please, DON'T be strangers!!

We were lucky enough to convince Debby Hughes and Theresa Winslow to stay on for another term!! YAAAAAY!! Also, somehow, someway, we managed to sweet talk the AMAZINGLY talented, and AWESOME Kim Teasdale, to come back!! Kim, it's about time you came home!! Now, without further ado, here are the girls coming to join us for their first time:
Our first new member is none other than the inspiration behind our new Ba Donkey Donk set, Kim O'Connell!! If you don't already know her, you SHOULD!! She has MAD skills, and is one of the funniest, sweetest people!! I can't wait to see what she does during her term, and I bet you can't either!!

Our next new member is Copic Coloring Goddess, Wendy Ramlakhan!! She is MEGA talented, and SUPER excited to be joining us for the next term. From her coloring skills, to her perfect embellishing, I think we are ALL in for a real treat!!

Next up is none other than our Laurel Seabrook!! From Scrapbook layouts to amazing cards, she is the PERFECT addition to our happy little family! A self-professed "non-colorer", I am curious and excited to see what's to come from her in the future!!
And last, but CERTAINLY not least, our super loyal, super talented, SUPER sweet fan, Candace Pierce!! Candace has been a regular in our challenges, and has found herself in the Trendsetting Spotlight SEVERAL times....it was only a matter of time before she ended up RIGHT where she should be!! Her enthusiasm and love for There She Goes stamps makes her the PERFECT addition to our team, and I am SURE you will LOVE her, too!!

I would also like to give a shout out to our super fan, and Facebook Promoter, Crafty Math Chick(Merideth)!! She has been taking care of the TSG Facebook page, and doing a BANG UP job with it!! Thanks girl, you rock!!! That's enough excitement for us for now....now, go spread the love to them!!

*****************************************

I had the pleasure of hanging out with three of our newest Trendsetters Kim, Laurel and Wendy a couple of weeks ago when they were here for the PJ Crop. We had so much fun together that I just knew that they would be a great addition to our TSG family Smile

While everyone was at my house I had them each create a journal page about the crop so that I could put them all together in an album. I swear you would have thought that I was asking them to pull their own teeth out by the way they complained lol!!  All of the ladies there finished one and from what I could tell, pretty much everyone enjoyed their final product when they were done. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to work on mine while everyone was here so I’m happy that I finally had a chance to work on it and finish it up.

You will notice that the info on my page is blurred out. That’s because ‘What happens at the crop, stays at the crop!'” lol!!
Jessica PJ Crop copy

I used a combination of different stuff from my stash to create this page but here are some things I wanted to point out-

*The gorgeous crochet flower was made for me by my sweet friend Pickle… uh.. I mean Danielle Lounds. She gave me some well over a year ago and I’ve been hoarding them this entire time.

*I used the brand new stamp set that was just released Ba Donkey Donk as well as the stamp set World’s Best (see the ‘brackets’ around favorite quotes?)

*The buttons, twine and ribbon are from RibbonCarousel.com of course

Thanks for stopping by, make sure you visit our newest Trendsetters and welcome them to the TSG Family!!
