Chemistry

Welcome to our final day of the TSG Blog Hop Challenges! If you made your way here from Jackie's Blog, you are on the right track. If not, you may want to stop by the TSG Blog to find out what this is all about and to find out how you could win the set being previewed today!

Today the Trendsetters are showing off a brand new set called Chemistry. This set is so much fun and completely different from other love themed stamp sets that are in the stamping world! The great concept for this set came from last month's Release Party Chat challenge winner, Michele. What was supposed to be a new TSG Mini set quickly turned into a full sized 4x8 stamp set!

I used one of my favorite images from this set which is the microscope. Isn't that adorable?? I colored it using a blender pen and reinkers. There are a couple of different sentiments that can be used with this image but I love this one so much, it is so true! I also stamped the beaker images in the background to give it a little something extra.

Hope you liked my card! The next stop on your hop is Jessie and I'm sure that she's got some great eye candy to share with all of you :)

ROFL Taglines!

Welcome to day two of the TSG blog hop challenges! If you made your way here from Jackie's
blog, then you are on the right track! If not, you may want to go back to the TSG Blog to find out what all this hopping is about :)
Today we are showing off the new set ROFL Taglines which is the second edition of the much loved LOL Taglines :) This set is a 6”x8” stamp set that includes 12 images and 14 sentiments that are sure to make you giggle! This set will be sold for $24. I can't wait for you guys to see this set in its entirety, it is full of giggles!

For my card today, I stamped the smaller car from the set on the Melon Mambo card base. The image was stamped onto Whisper White before it was paper pieced and colored with a blender pen and SU ink. I added some sparkle to the headlights, bumper and grill then added Diamond Glaze to the windshield to give it more detail. Isn't that sentiment too funny?? There is another great one that can go with this car as well ;)

Here is a close up of the car-

Thanks for stopping by! The next stop on this hop is Jessie so go check out what she has in store for you!!

Welcome to day one of the TSG sneak peeks! If you arrived here from Holly's Blog then you are right on track. If not, you may want to go the TSG Blog to find out what all of this hoopla is about and also how you can win the set that is being previewed today!!

The set that the Trendsetters are showing off today is called Aim For The Clouds. This set is so much fun to color and paper piece! For my background image, I masked the clouds and mountains then sponged in a blue sky. The hot air balloons were stamped on a seperate scrap of paper and colored with a blender pen and SU inks before I cut it out and added them to the background with dimensionals.

The next stop on the hop is my girl Jessie! Enjoy all of the fabulous eye candy that the Trendsetters have posted for you!!

Feeling sketchy!

I'm feeling a little sketchy today. Why?? Because that is this week's TSG Challenge! Make sure you stop by the TSG Blog to check out this week's sketch. This is also the start of release week at There She Goes! Yipee!! You may find that the Trendsetters may giving you an early sneak peek of the new sets for their challenge cards ;)

For today's card, I used one of the new sets. This set is so much fun to color and paper piece! I am trying to go out of my comfort zone a bit when it comes to designer paper and colors as you can clearly tell by my use of green and teal lol! I haven't quite decided if I like it yet. It's growing on me....

The majority of these images were paper pieced using various DP that I have. I used a blender pen and SU inks to add shading to parts of the images. Everything was stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black.

Card Recipe:
Stamps- Aim For The Clouds
Ink- Momento Tuxedo Black, SU ink for shading
Paper- Black, Very Vanilla, White, Various DP
Accessories- Ribbon, Rhinestones, dimensionals, SU punch, Nestabilities, Blender Pen, Scallop Border punch

Feeling the mojo!

I think my mojo is finally making an appearance and it's about time! This card was totally cased from this great card made by fellow Trendsetter Jodi. I changed the designer paper used, type of flower and placement, and used different images (but same stamp set Loads Of Fun).

I started out with a 4.25x4.25 Chocolate Chip card base then added layers of Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and DP by My Minds Eye (I think?). Before I adhered the DP to the CC layer, I stitched it using my sewing machine. The scallop layer was made using Nestabilities as was the white layer on top of it. I sponged the white layer with Creamy Caramel ink before adding my sentiment (in CC). The socks were stamped onto the DP with Momento Tuxedo Black then I colored in parts of it with my blender pen and CC ink. I cut them out and added them to the card with dimensionals. I'm not sure who makes the prima flowers, I got them from my friend Kelli. Aren't they pretty?? I threaded the button with brown embroidery thread before adhering it to the flowers.

Want to see more?? Check out today's post on the TSG Blog to see a
Stampbook Page I created that was inspired by this card!

All things grow with love

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you will join us tonight here on the TSG Forum for our Friday Night Chat! The chat officially begins at 7:00 PM Pacific Time (10 Eastern) but feel free to stop in at any time during the day to say hello :)

I have been meaning to share this card with you guys for a week now and I am finally getting it uploaded lol! I used the new set Garden Of Friends which is such a beautiful flower set. The white panel was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I stamped the larger Hydrangea flower and punched out before matting onto same color cardstock. Small flowers were stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with blender pens and SU ink before adding to the larger circles with dimensionals. I also added a tiny rhinestone to each of the flowers.

Wanna hang out?

ETA: Make sure you stop by Sandra's blog where she
has some TSG Blog Candy available!

Hello everyone! I can hardly believe that the week is nearly over. It's amazing how losing one day in the week really makes a difference! I did get a chance to stamp last night and I knew that I wanted to use the new set, Loads Of Fun. I have been wanting to paper piece the clothes on this laundry line as soon as I had these stamps in my hand but life took over and I just haven't had the chance till now. I love how the paper piecing really ties the whole card together.

TSG38 It's a color challenge!

I am so sorry that it has been a week since I've posted! My mojo went on hiatus and I just haven't been able to stamp. I am going to make up for it this week though :)

Our challenge this week is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, Jodi! She has chosen a great color challenge for us :) The colors she chose are red, pink and aqua and these colors are just what I needed to get into the Valentine's Day spirit! Make sure you stop by the TSG Blog to find out all the details and how you can win a $5 TSG gift certificate!

TSG37 Time to embellish by 3's!

This week Jessie has a great challenge for us! We are to use at least 3 different types of embellishments. You can use as many of each as you would like but there has to be at least 3 different types. You can find out all the details here on the TSG Blog.

I'm not gonna lie, it took me a few hours to make this card. Wait, back up. It didn't take me a few hours to actually make this card but to come up with it. I had started two other cards before this one but they just weren't coming together for me so I decided to go nice and simple. I knew that I wanted to use this image and sentiment from the Loads Of Fun set and the ribbon/button/twine for my 3 embellishments. Sometimes it's just best to simple :)

Isn't that ribbon great? Michele sent it to me a TON of beautiful ribbon along with this gorgeous card. Talk about happy mail! Thanks Michele!!

All the flowers

Join us tonight here in the TSG Forum for the Friday Night Chat! It's a great time to hang out with friends and we love meeting new people!

It's been quite a few days since I've done any stamping so I was very happy that I was able to whip up two cards last night! For both of my cards I used the new Garden Of Friends stamp set and used my favorite go to layout. This one features squares and the other card that I made (that I will be sharing tomorrow) features the same layout but using circles instead.

I stamped the flowers on white cardstock and colored them in using a blender pen and SU inks before cutting them out to use on the small square panels. For the white layer, I stamped one of the leaves in the set in Always Artichoke ink then backed it with colored cardstock before matting it on black and adding it to the card base.
