Welcome to our second day of sneak peeks! Today the Trendsetters are showing off two fun new mini sets that were illustrated by Torico.
Did you make your way here from Iwona's blog? If so, great! If not, you may want to head over to the
TSG blog to find out all of the details about this hop and how you can win these two mini sets.
Gobble is a 3x4 stamp set that includes a total of 13 of stamps and will sell for $7.
This first mini set is such a fun one to play with! It includes this adorable turkey as well a few different things that he can hold like a sign, fork and glass. There are also a bunch of different sentiments that can be stamped on the sign to add to the versatility.
*I started by creating a background on my Kraft card base by stamping the large and small forks from the set in Sahara Sand.
*I then stamped the turkey, masked the wing, and stamped the sign/sentiment onto white cardstock.
*Image was colored with Prisma colored pencils and blended with OMS, cut out and added to the card base with dimensionals.
*I kept the design of this card nice and simple so that the focus is on the cute little turkey.
In Stitches is a 2x6 stamp set that includes a total of 7 of stamps and will sell for $7.
This second mini set includes is already becoming a favorite of mine! One of my favorite things to do to embellish my cards is to add stitching with my sewing machine. Unfortunately I am unable to do this on my one layer cards because I don't like the 'unfinished' look of the stitches from the inside of the card. This set solves that problem! One of the stamps included in the set is a line of stitching that is perfect to fit across the length of this vertical card (4.25 in.). It can be stamped in any color and looks even more realistic when embossed like I did on this card.
*Card base is Early Espresso
*DP by Basic Grey is stamped with a fun pattern image also included in this set
*Added a white and Early Espresso mat, stamped the stitching across the top and bottom with white craft ink then embossed in white.
*Tag was die cut with an SU die, sentiment stamped in Early Espresso and added to the card with white twine.
Thanks for stopping by everyone!
The next stop on this hop is the fabulous Jessie and I'm sure that you are gonna love what she has to share with you today.
