I would also like to thank Pien for coming up with some amazing stamp sets for all of us! She is a very talented artist with a varying style to fit everyone's tastes.

So many changes and upgrades... where to begin? Let's start off with the new fabulous There She Goes logo! Do you recognize this sassy lady? Happy Day Blog Hop Challenge

Here it is, the final day of the May release sneak peeks! I think that I just may have saved the best for last :) I am so in love with the new set Happy Day. It is so much fun to color and paper piece! This set was designed by both Pien DaPino and myself. She is the mastermind behind these fabulous images though. I think that once you see this set in full tomorrow, you will fall in love as well.

Here is a cute card I made using this new set. I just love these colors together!
And of course we can't forget that today is Stampbooking Wednesday! I cased my sneak peek card to make this Stampbook page of me and my crazy husband.

Yes he is shirtless. Apparently, he doesn't believe in wearing shirts from June-August lol! How cute are those two little love birds in the tree??

A-Z and 1,2,3 Blog Hop Challenge

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope that you all had a great time hopping blogs and checking out the rest of the Trendsetters gorgeous cards. Aren't they amazing??

Are you guys ready for Blog Hop Challenge #2?

The set that we will be giving you a sneak peek of is called A-Z and 1,2,3. This set is going to be the only alphabet set that you will ever need! This 4x6 set has all of the letters of the alphabet in both uppercase and lowercase. Not only that but there are also numbers 1-0, 6 types of punctiuation and two monogramed circles that work perfect with a 3/4 in. punch. All of this for only $15!! And these aren't teeny tiny letters either. There are a total of 70 stamps in this set!!!

But wait, there's more! Starting May first, There She Goes will be carring a 3"x4" grid lined acrylic block as well. How perfect is that? You can see from my picture here that mine is already getting some lovin :)

The card I made today is using stamps only from the new A-Z set to give you an idea of how versatile it is. I'm telling you, it's going to be the only alphabet set you will need. The next stop is Angela..

May TSG Challenge Post

With the May Release sneak peeks just around the corner, I have some very exciting things to share with you guys! I have been so busy the last couple of months giving TSG a makeover and I can't wait to be able to show all of you the end result.

Here are just a few of the things that I have up my sleeve-
*New Logo
*New Website
*New Forum
*New Gallery
*A new stamp designer
*New products!!!

Stay tuned in to my blog as I announce more details as they come :)

Guest Trendsetter
I would like to welcome Jen Tapler as the new Guest Trendsetter for May. She is such a wonderful person and an amazing stamper as well! Her way with color and use of layouts is stunning and I can't wait to see what she has in store for all of us using the brand new stamp sets! Stop by her blog and check out her beautiful work :)

May TSG Challenge
To celebrate all of the new changes going on at There She Goes, this months challenge is all about growing and evolving as a stamper. To participate in this challenge, you need to post (on your blog) the very first card that you made/uploaded to a gallery and also post a picture of a favorite card that you have made. It will be great to see how far we have all come! Then come back to my blog and add your name to the Mister Linky on this May TSG Challenge Post.

For those of you that do not have a blog, you can still participate! Just add a link to your first stamped card/project (from your SCS gallery or other online crafting gallery). Please only one entry per person for this challenge.

You have until midnight on Wednesday to get in your submissions.

*There is no "title" for this challenge. For example- tsg0whatever.

****************

Here is my entry for the May TSG Challenge:
This was the very first card that I uploaded to SCS using my first SU stamps that I found at a garage sale. I was so happy to finally have a real stamp set and some ink not to mention a new 8x8 stack of DCWV designer paper ;) *Before this stamp set, I was using clip art images that I printed for the images on my cards lol!* Sadly, I removed this card from my gallery almost a year ago. It is so funny looking back at this card because I see all of the things that I would like to change and fix. I wonder what ever happened to this card??
And here is one of my favorites. This may not be a card, but I love how this Stampbook page turned out about the girls. This is one of my favorite pictures of my little crazies. We had so much fun on this day raking leaves together. Well.... mommy and daddy were raking leaves. The girls were right behind us un-raking them. ;)
A few of the things that I love so much about this page are the colors, simplicity and of course the cute little squirrel from the You're So Punny set.

Now it's your turn! I want to see how you've grown. Add your name/url link so I can check out your work :)

Happy Friday everyone! I am so happy that the weekend is just about here, cause boy do I need it lol!

Today Faith is our wonderful host for the Dollar Find Friday project. She has made this awesome Coaster Message Center. How cute is that???

Make sure you stop by her blog to see the complete tutorial!

Come back tomorrow when I will be announcing this months There She Goes challenge to kick off our May Release!!

Have an awesome weekend everyone :)

Tried......and failed!

Today's challenge on SCS was to focus on white. I gave it a good try, honest I did! But.... as you can see, I got a little distracted lol! So this card may not work for the challenge, but I still like how it turned out :).
I used the stamp set Tea For Two (There She Goes) and stamped the tea pot on the Label One Nestie layer. I then paper pieced the pot in some SU DP in Ruby Red. For the scallop background layer, I used my Scallop Edge Punch (SU) and then used my Crop-O-Dile to punch out the middles.

And here is the inside of the card.

I will be sending out the monthly TSG Newsletter tonight and it is going to have lots of big news! If you haven't already signed up for it, you can do so here! Be the first to be in the "know" :)

A sketchy Stampbooking Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I was feeling a little crafty this morning and was delighted to see the sketch on SCS today. I wasn't able to make a Stampbook page last night due to not feeling well and having to get our kitty out of a tree at 10:00 PM, and this sketch looked perfect for a Stampbook Page Layout. Since most of my Stampbook pages are inspired by cards, it was only natural that I had to make a card first ;).
I used some more of my new DCWV paper. I soooo love the pretty sparkly pages! I've had my eye on these particular pieces when I got the paper. I knew I wanted to use it for something special. The sentiment (from Crafty Taglines) was stamped on my new Labels Four Nestabilitites and mounted with dimensionals onto the card base.

Here is the inside of the card.
And here is today's Stampbook Page. I took this picture of one of my best friends Dani and my girls this weekend when we were all hanging out. My girls just love their "Auntie Dani" and "Uncle Zack" so every time we are able to get together is special. Do you see the older two "posing"? They do this for just about every picture lol!
The sentiment used is from the set Nature Of Friendship (one of my favorite sets!).
I hope that you all enjoy your Wednesday. Friday is just on the horizon!!

Feelin a little fiesty

I was leafing through my new DCWV paper pack and it inspired me to stamp. Don't you love how good paper can do that to you? I decided to use a set that I haven't used in a while so I pulled out my LOL Taglines.
I used my label one nesties for the top panel, stamped my images and paper pieced the heart. The background panel is a piece of paper from the paper pack. (Isn't that pretty?) I added the main panel with dimensionals and used stickles to glue on some rhinestones.

Sorry so short, but I gotta get my nose back to the grindstone ;) Have a great day everyone!

Startin' em young ;)

Before we headed out to go fishing the other day, the girls and I made some cards. Even Matt got in on the action! Well, he helped the girls with their cards, that counts right?

I made this card for a guy friend of mine (it was his house that we went to). I love the Tastes Like Chicken set for masculine cards cause most of the guys I know have a great sense of humor.
For Kylie's birthday, I got her a Cuttlekids so that she can craft with mommy using her own tools. We have been so busy lately that this was the first time that we've actually been able to play with it. I helped the girls put together the card bases and daddy helped with the flowers. It is so nice having them use up some of my scraps so that I can finally get rid of them lol!

How cute are these cards??

Kayla made the one on the left, Chloe in the middle and Kylie on the right. I think I'm doing a pretty good job on getting the whole family to do crafts with me ;).
And of course, here is this weeks WIR winner!
