This card isn't your typical 4.25x5.5 because I couldn't bare to trim off any more of the flowers that I had just finished watercoloring so it is a little longer (and shorter) than usual. I have noticed that I find myself creating 'odd' sized cards more and more lately and have been loving the results! It's almost freeing in a way to know that I'm not 'confined' to a certain size. It does however make it a little harder to actually mail the cards to someone lol!
Because there is so much going on with the flowers, I chose to keep the layout and sentiment simple. I added a black mat to the flower panel and popped it up using dimensionals on a Kraft card base. The sentiment panel was created by cutting out vellum with a SU die cut, stamping the sentiment, adding a glue dot (that I cut in half) to the back and adhesive peals to the front.
I also kept the inside nice and simple by just stamping the one flower image on the inside and watercoloring it with my blender pen in the same colors as some of the flowers on the front. I love the way decorating the inside of a card really ties everything together giving it a more finished look!

Wow Jess! This looks like a beautiful garden! LOVE this!!
