DRS Designs Blog challenge (paper piercing)

The challenge over on the DRS Blog is a simple and fun one! The challenge is all about paper piercing. We would love for you to participate in this challenge! When uploading your project to SCS, please use the keyword DRSC2 so that we can all check them out and comment on them.

Here is the card that I made for the challenge-
I loved this sentiment and know that I wanted to use it for this card, but had one little problem. The sentiment was a vertical one and I needed something horizontal for this particular card. I stamped the sentiment on watercolor paper and then cut out each word and matted it separately. I then used dimensionals to adhere them to my card. I added paper piercing to the corner of the front panel as well as the scallop border. And I love those leaves! Lots of possibilities...

Accessories: Stamps- DRS Designs. Paper- Chocolate chip, watercolor paper, DCWV DP, creamy caramel. Ink- Chocolate chip, close to cocoa. Accessories- Creamy caramel SU marker, scallop scissors, dimensionals, edge disstressor, brads, corner punch.

I hope that you guys all have a fabulous tuesday and are able to get at least a little inky.

And don't forget I am still doing the preorder up until Friday. You can check out yesterday's post for all the details!

More info-
* Right now I am planning on the website going live September 1st.

* Featured Designer*
As I have mentioned before, every month I will have a new featured designer. To pick this person, I will use a random number generator to pick from the number of customers that I have had through out that month. (1st-31st) That person will then get to work with me on designing their very own stamps set! Every person who pre orders, will also get their name into the September featured stamper drawing!

*Join me on this journey*
As a thank you to all of you that come along this journey with me, I will have a very special stamp set to give you that will not be for sale! To qualify for this free set, you just need to order 12 stamp sets between September 1st 2008- September 1st 2009. All pre orders will qualify for this also!

*Design team*
I am in the works of putting together a design team. I can tell you right now that I've got some amazingly talented people so far! I will post the list of my design team members on my blog as well as my website when everything is concrete. Be on the look out for that soon!
*Your Input*
I would love to see what people think about my stamp sets. Don't forget to check out my poll at the top of the page to tell me what your favorite set is so far!

Friendship flowers

I don't know about you guys, but I seem to have lots of flowers and vases stamps. They are some of my favorite images to use and color, but it seems a little weird to me to just have them "floating" there lol. So I came up with this desk and table. Now there is somewhere to put those vases full of flowers! The smaller set of vases/bowls/pots and plants are made to fit perfectly with the desk and table. And how about that little doily? Isn't it too cute?!

Stay tuned tomorrow when I will give all the details about the option to preorder these stamp sets at a special price before they go on sale at my website! You won't want to miss it.....

Here for you...

This beautiful set is one of my favorites! It is made to be a sympathy set but with those lovely silhouettes, this set would make many elegant projects! The name of this stamp set is "Here for you".
