Card bins!
These cardboard bins are absolutely perfect for storing cards as well as other supplies. And the best part? They are alterable! The measurements for these are 9" long, 6.25" wide, and 4.5" high. The do not take up very much room but are able to store LOTS of cards! I was able to fit at least 50 cards in mine (keep in mind that most of my cards have many layers so these could easily fit MORE!) They will be for sale on the THERE SHE GOES website on October first along with the Spooktacular Silhouettes stamp set. The price for the bins will be 3 for $5.
Here is a tutorial on how I altered mine-
Acrylic paint
Foam brush
Masking tape
Card bin
Step 1- Using masking tape, tape all of the edges and seams.
Step 2- Using foam brush, paint the bin with acrylic paint. Depending on the brand of paint used, you may need to do a few coats for good coverage. It's OK if it looks a little "rough" at this point, it's not a big deal.
Step 3- Cut 12x12 paper for each of the four sides of the bin. I did this by tracing the sides onto the 12x12 paper and then trimmed off a little from each side. Keep scraps to use to decorate the labeled divider cards.
Step 4- Adhere paper to box. I used red line sticky tape for this step.
I used circle punches to make the title for the front of the bin. I used SU In Colors that matched the 12x12 designer paper that I used.
Here is another card bin that I made. I have this divided into three sections: Birthday, Thank You and Everyday cards.
I hope that you enjoyed today's tutorial. Let me know what you think of these!

Butterfly happiness
I made this card by first sponging the clouds using a makeup sponge and an acetate cloud template. I then stamped the leaves with always artichoke and added the little "berries" with a Ruby Red SU marker. I stamped the butterflies onto vellum and water colored them with ruby red ink. After the ink was dry, I cut out the butterflies and adhered them to my card using red sticky tape. But the card wasn't quite finished... it needed bling! I added some stickles to the butterfly wings for some extra sparkle.
Supplies: Stamps- Butterfly Happiness (There She Goes) Paper- Going grey, white. Ink- always artichoke, ruby red, black stazon, soft sky. Accessories- cloud template, makeup sponge, SU marker, watercolor brush, scallop corner punch, vellum, stickles, red sticky tape.

It's all in the accessories!
When I first saw this image by DRS Designs, I knew that I had to have it. Isn't it too cute? While I was making this card I was thinking of my good friend Wendy, who is a self proclaimed witch. Well... around Halloween at least lol!
I made this card by using a technique called paper piecing. I haven't done this in a while but it's one of my favorite techniques! It does take a little while to cut out all of the different images but I always love the end result. If you haven't tried this before you should, it's a lot of fun!
Supplies: Stamps- DRS Designs (K154 & D155) Paper- Orchid opulence, black, TAC DP, various scraps for paper piecing. Ink- black stazon. Accessories- scallop punch, white gel pen, black pen.
